March is here and we’re looking forward to welcoming Spring with open arms. The days are getting longer, bringing a little more sunshine into our lives, and letting us enjoy the view from Alpha Works until the end of the working day.
The Prime Minister’s Covid-19 roadmap has also put a smile on our faces, with a light at the end of the tunnel now clearly in view. We hope to welcome more of our members back into the office over the coming months and can’t wait for Alpha Works to return to the lively and vibrant space we all know and love.
In the meantime, our doors remain open to those of you who want a break from the four walls of your home office.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4917" align="aligncenter" width="344"]
Going virtual
A physical office might not be right for you at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that Alpha Works can’t be your base. Our Virtual Office package gives you a prestigious business address, ensuring your brand retains its professional image, while keeping costs down. Flexibility is our priority, so you can use this package for as long, or as little, as you need.
We are still offering our Hot-Desk and Private Office packages too, and we’d love to see as many of you as possible back at Alpha Works in the near future as restrictions start to lift. Being able to come to a physical office holds a variety of benefits, from finding your next big idea over a coffee with colleagues to regaining that all important work/life balance. There’s nowhere quite like Alpha Works for an inspiring view either. A lightbulb moment is just a glance out the window away.
Working from home may have its perks, but the social and supportive nature of the office can never be replaced. Our meeting rooms allow presentations and training to be done in person, enabling people to share their enthusiasm with their audience, motivating them more than can ever be done over video call. It’s surprising how much more you can learn from someone, just by talking face to face.
We’re here for you, whenever you’re ready.[/caption]

Alpha Works in your pocket
We’ve always been proud of the amenities and member benefits that we’re able to offer to our community, and now we can showcase them all in one place on the CEG Life app.
Available on both Apple and Android devices, the app provides details on our new state of the art gym, modern shower facilities, welcoming café and more. It also has a range of exclusive discounts for our members, including at local restaurants and bars. Perfect for a post-lockdown treat.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_5202" align="aligncenter" width="383"]
Congratulations are in order
Wishing our Hot-Desk members, Birmingham Enterprise Community (BEC), a huge congratulations for their recent award win at the National Enterprise Network Awards.
BEC were the deserving recipients of the Enterprise Impact Award, which recognizes the hard work that enterprise support organizations put in to help their clients succeed. We’ve seen first-hand the transformations that occur with the support of BEC and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
Lunchtime listening
From March until May, you can enjoy a series of free online performances courtesy of the talented musicians at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts. The concerts start at 1pm, making them perfect for a bit of lunchtime relaxation.
What better way to unwind after a busy morning than with live classical music?
We hope you’re feeling inspired after reading March’s newsletter. If you have any questions about anything you’ve read, please do get in touch. We love hearing from our members! See you next month for another instalment of the Alpha Works' newsletter.[/caption]
