A Cultural Fit
Finding the perfect person to join your team can be a complicated and tiresome ordeal. Culture Recruitment know the struggle, so with their tried and tested matchmaking skills, they make the process of finding your next employee a breeze.
Made up of a collective group of like-minded people whose aim is to set the standard in recruitment, Culture put the emphasis on finding people their cultural fit.
Starting out in 2017, founders Jamie and Laurence have built the business from the ground up. As top performers in the recruitment sector, having grafted for over 17 years in a number of leading recruitment firms, the pair decided it was time to create a business that was firmly focused on achieving the best results, taking a more flexible (and fun!) approach than some of its larger counterparts.
Life is short – going to work shouldn’t have to be a chore. One of the many reason’s Culture is dedicated to finding people their dream job.
The success of the business so far is 100 percent down to the quality of its people. Culture have welcomed three directors to the business over the last two years – Leanne Perry, Nicola Morris and Rob Eatwell – who have each been a brilliant addition to the group, as has every member of the team who work hard day in and day out to make a difference.
My Type On Paper
Culture understand that what sets a candidate apart is their personality. A person can be perfect on paper, but that doesn’t mean they’ll meld with the rest of the business.
To ensure they create matches made in heaven, Culture look at each candidate and client under a metaphorical microscope, identifying their core values and pairing them based on these as well as qualifications.
Making A Difference
One of the team’s proudest achievements is their work with Midlands-based Cure Leukaemia, having been nominated as the charity’s partner due to their unparalleled support, including their willingness to slip into Lycra cycling shorts.
When job seekers and businesses connect with Culture, they know they are working with so much more than a traditional recruitment agency.
Alpha Works: Perfect For The Role
Birmingham born and raised, the choice to make the second city Culture’s base was never in question. However, having been left uninspired by other office spaces in the city, the team went on the hunt for a place that reflected their own creative and flexible values.
On the recommendation of a friend, Culture decided to pay Alpha Works a visit. Immediately taken by the incredible view and the professional yet lively ambiance of the space, it became obvious that Alpha Works was the natural choice for Culture’s headquarters.
With a supportive Community Team and plenty of spaces to think, network and impress clients, Alpha Works was a clear fit. The extra amenities in the Tower also had a strong bearing on Culture’s decision, with the impressive gym and handy café offering that work/life balance which Culture is so passionate about.
Amongst the many benefits of Alpha Works, the vibrant community is one of the most important for Culture. Working alongside other entrepreneurs and go-getters not only boosts the team’s creative mojo, but provides them with the chance to make invaluable connections. Having already established several partnerships with kindred spirits, Culture looks forward to forming a network of inspiring businesses and people within Alpha Works.
The world is ripe with opportunity for Culture. Having already set eyes on businesses across the pond, the USA could become a second home to Culture in the future.
An ever-ambitious bunch, the team also hopes to cement themselves as a market leader in recruitment, setting the gold standard for other companies in the sector.
