We had @birminghammind kicking off World Mental Health Day. 💙

Blue Serenity was here offering our members a 20-minute workplace wellness in-house seated massages.💆‍♂️

@quietnote hosted an immersive meditation session bringing together music and mindfulness. 🧘‍♀️

Jessica Shields hosted her incredibly impactful wellbeing and mindset coaching sessions. These sessions offered our community an instant, individual personalised approach to managing work/life balance, defining career direction, and conquering the voice of the inner critic! 💹

Lastly, our very own community associate, Amika, hosted her first abstract painting class. Bringing out the inner Picasso's hidden among our community. 🎨

Earlier this year, we introduced The Alpha Art Gallery. A one-night exhibition featuring local, underrepresented and/or upcoming artists working with a range of mediums. We’re super excited to open submissions for the second Alpha Gallery, this September! Join us for an evening of all things art and a chance to network in our collaborative and welcoming building looking over this vibrant city.

This year we are accepting submissions from both visual artists and photographers. So get applying and sharing with any Birmingham based artists/photographers who you think should apply. Please read the below slides for more details on submissions guidelines. Should you have further questions, don’t be afraid to contact us at Alpha Works. Good luck! 😊
