Three of the world’s most exciting dance groups – Just Dance, the Soweto Skeleton Movers and Tentacle Tribe – will be performing on both days.
Just Dance represents not just seven of Korea’s best break dancers, but some some of the very best dancers in the hip hop scene. Their fusion of contemporary break dance choreography and Korean culture have won numerous competitions across the globe and they are now considered to be one of the leading bboy collectives of our time.
The Soweto Skeleton Movers bring their unmissable Pantsula dancing to The REP. The dance is an exhilarating combination of ‘isparapara’, inspired by jumping on and off moving trains and tap. You will recognise aspects of this thrilling dance through its influence in break dancing, body popping, house music and even jazz.
Tentacle Tribe is a Canadian-Swedish creative alliance between acclaimed choreographers Emmanuelle Le Phan and Elon Hoglund. This Montreal-based dance company creates unique dance works with a contemporary twist, using conceptual hip hop and influences from all types of earthly creatures.

Focusing on confidence and agility, this Birmingham dance group focuses on a variety of dance styles.
This Midlands-based dance street dance, fusion and hip hop specialists.

The action will also be spilling off the stage and taking over the whole building! Dance workshops, graffiti displays, DJs and free style sessions will make Breakin’ Convention an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
